Kirk Chiswell
With each photograph Kirk Chiswell combines his passion for golf and filmmaking. When not on the course Kirk works as a film and television camera operator in Calgary, Alberta. In Kirk’s 30 year career in film and television he has worked on Academy award winning films such as “Legends of the Fall”, with Antony Hopkins & Brad Pitt, “Unforgiven” with Actor/Director Clint Eastwood, and “Brokeback Mountain,” with Heath Ledger & Jake Gyllenhaal, & Director Ang Lee.
Kirk takes his experience from set in crafting images to the course, photographing North America’s finest golf courses. Kirk captures the essence of each hole, showcasing the player’s perspective in stunning panoramic compositions.
“Looking back over the years of my career I think of how strong the connection is between the Entertainment industry & the game of golf. I have been so fortunate to play golf with many different actors, directors, producers & film crew & all very fond memories! It is amazing how the game of golf bonds & bring people together.
